These terms and conditions apply to all hair and makeup services provided by Makeup By SJ (Samantha Stimson) ABN: 60 44551 6958 and you (the Client/Customer). When making a deposit for a makeup application on with Samantha Stimson, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

Online Bookings

All online bookings will not be confirmed until booking fee is paid and client has received a written response from Makeup By SJ (Samantha Stimson).

In order to provide better service to my valued customers, Makeup By SJ may request personal details such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Makeup By SJ will not sell or disclose the customers’ personal information on/details to any third party without the customers’ consent unless in the purpose if necessary to comply with laws, investigations or legal proceedings. Visual media (photos/videos) will only be captured with verbal consent from the client, and in doing so provides permission to be used for any future marketing for Makeup By SJ.

Liability

All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitised between every makeup application. Any skin condition/sensitivity should be reported by the client to the Makeup Artist, prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test for a reaction. The Client agrees to release the makeup artist, Makeup By SJ (Samantha Stimson) from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Payment

For all appointments a booking fee is required. All booking fees are non-refundable and non transferable unless otherwise specified. A booking confirmation email will be sent out to your email address to confirm payment has cleared. All monies must be paid in full for wedding bookings before the day of service. All other appointments can be paid by cash or card (surcharge may apply) on the day of service. Any cancellations within 7 days for weddings will be required to pay in full, cancellations within 24 hours for all other services will be required to pay in full.

Changes to your booking

No reduction in the number of makeup applications are allowed after the initial quote is accepted. Any additional numbers, changes in location or timing on the day will be accommodated where/if possible and agreed between the client and Makeup By SJ. Change of locations may result in an increase in cost, dependant on distance travelled.

Booking times

A start and end me will be agreed upon by the client and Makeup By SJ. Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished; for special occasions, the usual timeframe is approximately 1hr and 15mins per person. When reserving your date, book accordingly. Any additional makeup needs outside this will only be performed at the discretion of the Makeup Artist. All persons involved in makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of the appointment. All makeup for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive times (no gaps in between).

Mobile services

If you have requested a mobile service, the address of Makeup By SJ (32 Silkeborg Crescent, Joondalup) will be on this email. Please disregard as Makeup By SJ will contact via email or text to confirm the requested travel address. Travel fees may apply and be added to your appointment.
